How hokkien...






Felt like eating porridge for dinner tonight, so i prepared the HOKKIEN DISHES !
Haa just look at those metal plates and you know how traditional this is.
I think people from the older generation would use such plates, i'm sure there're still a handful of us using them =)
I like them very much, i could even use them to bake pies, how convenient..
Very simple dishes to fill up our stomachs..
1. Steamed minced pork with peas and olive vegetables.
2. Braised vegetables with dried shrimps and garlic.
Lastly....my bowl of hot porridge...
Satisfaction......

wah nice dishes! but ewww i can never stand those plates...they're so...cheena haha, and ugly esp when the edges chip so easily. there's a term for this kind of plates, think its called 'lam tng' or something.

Evan : I dont know the chinese/hokkien name for them leh, i just call them the metal plates haa ! eh good to use ah, dont despise them haa
