had to do someting to the brinjal...


This is what i did to the brinjal..
I've always been thinking of a new way to cook brinjals..
In Asia, i think most people would deep fry them first then fry them with lots of chilli belachan..Its very nice to eat brinjals prepared that way..the thing is...u can find that almost anywhere...
I took some dried squids out, seasoned the brinjals with oil, garlic n fish sauce..sprinkled some sliced dried squids over and baked for 20 mins..
*ding* took them out, tore open the foil and tasted it...the binjals were very tender, almost like a mashed..flavourful enough..i thought..hmmm...maybe i could make this into a more to the thai side dish by adding some thai spices..i have 3 more binjals in the fridge.
okay, the vegetable to try for the time being, brinjal...
