Too red ?

My Angbao cake...

Hmm, i thought of making this for CNY..a red cake with some golden filling inside to make it feel like a red packet sort of thing...its hard to obtain the colour, GOLD, so i went ahead to try it with yellow, bright yellow...

Well, my first try didnt turn out very well, the red colour is too dark and the filling isnt enough, i find...i'm gonna try again, make some changes to the recipe on my 2nd attempt..

The taste is nice..just need to re-do it again...

im also probably going to top the cake with 2 mandarin oranges or something to make it resemble a red packet...
